Blessed Trinity God from all eternity Blessed Trinity. Holy, Holy, Holy is He, And forever shall be. Three persons in One ~ Father, Spirit and Son. Each a reflection of His face ~ Showing believers His amazing grace. God the Father sits and rules, And loves us all as His jewels. On the waters His Spirit hovered ~ Until the ocean was covered. Then God created man ~ In His eternal plan. Man fell into sin ~ When Satan lied to him. God sent the Spirit to convict man, And turn him from his sinful stand. He sent the plagues to rebuke, But man did not seek the truth. The prophets told them to obey, But man went his own way. In mercy for the fallen race ~ On the cross Jesus took our place. He bore the punishment for our sin ~ So He could come and live within. The Holy Spirit teaches the truth, But man still stands aloof. Without His Son there is no way ~ To come to the Father today.
