Beyond Me I sit and wonder why ~ The stars are in the sky. I ponder the wind ~ As if it were my friend. Those butterflies on the wing ~ Are such amazing things. The rose sitting on the stem ~ waiting to be trimmed. The majesty of the mountain peaks, And how a little child speaks. Soft clouds in the sky, And the birds that fly. The way the tree sways in the breeze, And the white frost in a freeze. The flower in a desert place, And a log in the fireplace. Someone to call friend, And the morning to start again. The sunset in the west, And my heartbeat in my chest. A babies sweet smell, And the truth of hell. The mighty force of the sea, And how God speaks to me.......... The glory of His great heavens, And the number seven. About God's love He sends, And how He has no beginning or end. I try to comprehend it all ~ But I am just too small!
