Better Than Silver More Precious Than Gold
Man seeks to fill his every desire ~ He cannot wait until he is retired. He tries to earn all he can ~ This seems to be the way of man. Some trinket he will acquire ~ Trying to fulfill his greatest desire. He wants the things that sparkle too, And for gold there's nothing he wouldn't do. With his wealth he feels like a king ~ Thinking he has everything. So he robs the poor for more, And puts it all in store. Money is often the way of ruin for man ~ Because he will feel he needs no other plan. It is not gold or silver that will endure, But wisdom dwelling in a heart that's pure!
