Bethlehem Star The wise men saw the star ~ In the sky very far. They knew a King was born ~ So they wanted Him to adorn. Over the mountains and plains ~ They searched but not in vain. On camels they rode day and night ~ following the star so bright. They stopped to inquire of men ~ On their journey to find Him. With treasures of gold, frankincense, and myrrh ~ The birth had truly occurred. As they arrived to see the Child ~ They stood in awe for a while. Yes, the star led them onward still ~ Over every mountain and hill. They gave their gifts to the King ~ It was their best offerings. Will you search for the King, And bring Him your offerings? The star still shines within ~ Those that believe in Him. They worship Him each day ~ With their songs of praise. Not just at Christmas time ~ He is always on their minds. Lord of lords and King of kings ~ He is God's only begotten offspring. So follow the Bethlehem star ~ The King is not too far!
