Alleluia He Has Risen

They came to see His body in the tomb

With spices all prepared.

When they arrived no one was in the room

They were full of despair.

He has risen from the dead

Now they came to see Jesus

On the way.

They didn't know He was the same

When He spoke it was early in the day.

Then He called Mary's name.

They ran to tell the news,

Jesus is alive to the disciples there.

In joy they told the rest,
