Lord, I stand amazed

As to the sky I gaze.

Thinking of your sacrifice,

And the way you saved my life.

You alone Lord, could repair,

And save my soul from despair.

Just thinking now of you alone,

And how you moved the stone.

No weight could hold you down

So you rose up from the ground.

The perfect Son of God you are

Now you sit far beyond the stars.

Just let me dwell in your presence

Lord, please never become absent.

May I rest securely in your arms

Dwelling in all of your charms.

I lift my every thought up to you

Because you alone are true.

Embracing the moment now I come

Where the long day is now done.

Take me back home with you

All my praise to you is due.

Please Lord let me forever with you abide
