A Happy Thanksgiving As I ponder this special day ~ I bow my head to pray. Thankful that God has blessed me ~ With health this day to see. Once again how He has provided all my needs, And thousands of other deeds. Daily I have had food to eat, And a warm place to sleep. The sun still shines each day, And at night the stars come out to play. I can see the needs of others, And help my sisters and brothers. I have a church for worshiping, And thank God for forgiving my sin. I have been well this year, And have had a few tears. I have friends that come ~ I love them every one. Blessings of hope, love, and grace, And a log in the fireplace. Come join me in thankful praise ~ For God's wonderful ways. He never forsakes me day or night ~ On my path He gives me Light. His Word will never fail ~ It will forever prevail. I have many reasons to be thankful, For which I am so grateful!
