Our faithful Father invites us to draw near to Him! He compels us to come and join Him in a magnificent place of love, joy, peace, and faithfulness. We rest because we are secure in His love and good intentions toward us. We know that we can count on Him to listen to us, to help us, and to guide us along the paths of righteousness where we find comfort, peace, and hope. We rest secure in His love and understand in the depths of our heart that His ways are perfect and good.

Because of who God is, we can joyfully trust Him. Is it not so awesome that our heavenly Father is the One whom we can rely on to never change. We can count on Him! He will never leave us, never give up on us! Simply knowing that He will always remain the same and act in the same manner toward us is so reassuring and restful.

God is loyal to Himself. He cannot be or do anything that He is not. What security! What peace and comfort in knowing that Almighty God our Father will always remain steadfast!

We can always depend upon Him! We never have to doubt for one moment whether or not He hears us or answers us, whether He will help us, nor whether He will help those we pray for. We have only to go to the His infallible Word to know, to believe, and to understand that God always has and always will do all that He has promised. O what joy, unsurmountable joy, that we have through the Lord Jesus Christ!!

God is faithful-
loyal and true
in constant allegiance
to me and you.

A devoted Father-
a steadfast friend
unwavering in loyalty
reliable to the end.

Worthy of our faith
never breaks our trust
always true to Himself-
consistent to be fair and just.

We must know and believe that God is who He says He is in order for our prayers to become effective. Without faith it is impossible to please Him.
