Think for a moment on God's displeasure at sin and then you will be able to see more clearly the overwhelming love that He has for us. He called us when we were in sin and far far away from Him. By the mercy of God, we have been preserved. In kindness God stretched forth His mercy: "tenderloving kindness."

God always loves us. His love never goes away. It is always strong and virbrant and merciful. Even when we feel as though we might be forsaken and unloved, the truth is - we are always loved.

God does not forget His own (Isaiah 44:21). He extends His loving kindness to us over and over. We need to remember how God did not forsake the Isralite people ... how He has not forsaken the church ... how He will never forsake us: "I will never leave thee or forsake thee." These words are precious and sweeter than the drippings of the honey comb. They are a treasure beyond compare. When troubles and trials come along and it seems as though God has forsaken us, remember when-

Remember the parting of the Red Sea...
remember the lonely cross of Calvary.

Remember Jesus made the demons flee...
remember He set Mary Magdelene free.

Remember Jesus turned the water into wine...
remember He healed the lame, sick, and blind.

Remember how the walls of Jericho fell...
remember WHO holds the keys to death and hell.

Remember all the miracles He has done...
know the power and might of Jesus the Son.

Allow the Holy Spirit of God to bring to our remembrance our forefathers - how He walked and talked with them. The Old Testament is filled with the good news of God's love, deliverance, and guidance. The New Testament brings us the Good News of Jesus and draws us to the very heart of God.(We may not be of the Jewish nationality, but we have been grafted into the family of God. Remember when God told Abraham that he would become the father of many nations.) We are His chosen people. He drew us into communion with Himself. If we let our minds dwell on God's love, we will see for ourselves how He has always loved us even before the earth was ever created.

Absolutely the Bible is a true record that contains the greatest love story ever told. God never changes. He remains the same today, yesterday, and for all eternity. "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." ~Heb 13:8~

God has drawn us to Himself out of bondage, out of sin and idols, out of despair and hopelessness. He loves us with a love so great we cannot comprehend it. He has drawn us out of the world. He has drawn us from death and given us life. He has drawn us into a covenant .. >>.. a lasting and eternal covenant. He has drawn us into communion with Himself where our hearts are united in love through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Because He loves us with an everlasting love, He keeps us by His grace in Jesus!
