One dark day on a hillside in Judea, a man died on a cross but this was no ordinary man. He was more than just a mere mortal, he was the Son of God, who came into the world to save it from sin. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
He came to his own, but they accepted him not! and crucified him. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shown in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
But as many as received him, to them he gave power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.
Are you still guilty? like those who rejected, and crucified him; have you not come to know Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. Would you not by faith place your trust and life in his hands today, and let him save you! from your sins.
Friend if you feel that God could not accept one such as you. Our Lord set aside his Position, and Glory in Heaven. To become one step lower than the angles, born of a virgin in the flesh, he walked and dwelled among men.
To suffer the humiliation, and death of Calvary's cross. And take upon himself! the punishment we were due, and shed his precious Blood for a world of lost sinners.
For while we were yet still in our sins, the one who knew no sin died for the many.
That we might be saved by his life, and accounted Righteous by his blood. And on the third day he was resurrected to justify our faith in him, and ascended to our Father in Heaven to assure us of our Salvation.
Today he is saying come, I am the truth, the life, and the way, the debt was settled long ago, why wait, why take the chance, why set aside the sacrifice I made for you.
In fact!, sinners just like you.
If now you feel you would like to pray, but you don't know what! or how you should pray. I invite you to pray this prayer with me.
God I know that I am a sinner, and the life I have been living is a lie and offense. I believe that your son, the Lord Jesus Christ died on Calvary's cross, shedding his precious blood for the forgiveness of my sins. And was resurrected on the third day to justify my faith in him, and ascended to his position in Heaven to assure my salvation.
I now repent of my sins, and place my trust in Jesus as my Lord and Saviour, to come into my Heart and life, to do what I cannot do. To change my life, and cleanse me of my sins ....
Thank you Lord Jesus; Amen.
If you just prayed this prayer in earnest or one like it your sins are forgiven, and you have become a child of God. You no longer have to fear the second death, as others without Christ do.
You now need to find a good Bible believing and teaching, Christ centered Church to join and attend. But most of all tell someone what you have just done, a Pastor or friend.
